My professional journey is driven by a deep curiosity about how information moves and how we can make it smarter. With a strong foundation as a Network and Telecommunications Engineer, I view data as the lifeblood of modern innovation, requiring both robust pathways and sophisticated analysis. I enjoy the challenge of architecting systems that are not only functional but resilient and forward-thinking.

Currently, I share my expertise as a Temporary Teacher at M'Hamed Bougara University, where I guide students through the complexities of AI and IoT. This role has sharpened my ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and reinforced my belief that the best engineering solutions are built on continuous learning and rigorous logic.

When I’m not in the classroom or the lab, I am usually deep-diving into AI-driven cybersecurity or exploring the latest advancements in Software-Defined Networking (SDN). I am always looking for opportunities to apply my skills in Python, Machine Learning, and Systems Administration to solve high-impact, real-world problems.

AI-Powered Intrusion Detection System for SDN (LSTM-Based)

  • Tech Stack: Python, TensorFlow/Keras, Ryu SDN Controller, OpenFlow, Scikit-learn, Linux

  • Description:
    Designed and implemented an intelligent Intrusion Detection System (IDS) leveraging a Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) deep learning architecture to detect anomalous network behavior in Software-Defined Networking (SDN) environments. Integrated the model with the Ryu SDN controller to enable real-time traffic analysis and dynamic decision-making within a LAN network. Built a data pipeline for preprocessing network flow features and trained the model on labeled traffic datasets to distinguish between normal and malicious patterns.

  • Impact:
    Achieved high detection accuracy with reduced false positives compared to traditional rule-based IDS approaches. Enabled real-time threat detection and response within the SDN controller, demonstrating the feasibility of combining deep learning with programmable networks for adaptive cybersecurity. Strengthened network visibility and automated mitigation capabilities in a controlled LAN environment.
