PR related to #54 "Way to identify a best result?"
An API consumer wants to extend the way search results are ranked. The first coding step to make that possible is to allow extension of the search and rank pipelines.
Next step (next PR) will be about new ranking components and exposing ranking data to the consumer.
This is a work in progress. I am not requesting for a merge in the current state.
