How to: Enabling Disabling Showing Hiding
The buttons in the Expanded frame behave the same way the buttons in the Edit Mode frame do: they hide the frame during Edit Mode!
If you want to set a frame to be hidden, outside of Edit Mode, select the frame during Edit Mode and then check the Hide option, like this:
However, not every frame has a Hide option. If you want something hidden, but the option isn't there, create a ticket and I will investigate if it is possible to hide that frame.
If you want to completely disable this addon handling a frame, de-select the frame in addon options:
