This doesn't implement a solution to the issue at hand.
This PR needs to modify the "Pen/Freehand/Splines tool" to change the behavior in the way described in the issue.
the current code only changes how the point is displayed in the data panel.
The data panel should only be used for debugging while implementing and should not be modified to misrepreset the node-graph state.
