Every race.data has a version field which gets incremented whenever the race data gets updated. So before we update our data in the class, let's check that field in case a message went stray.

So before we update our data in the class, let's check that field in case a message went stray.
As discussed in discord, this should be done so prevent stray messages from overriding the current data
