Sounds fine to me, but I don't make decisions here. :) You could try opening a discussion on discuss.python.org; that's useful for larger additions (such as the free-threading set of classifiers I added); I'm not sure if it's necessary for smaller additions, but it might help move it along. |

Model Context Protocol is an open standard for AI applications to interact with context providing 'servers'. The project
is well adopted, see (https://github.com/modelcontextprotocol/python-sdk). Hundreds of servers have been developed using the SDK.
We want to help developers of servers to classify their servers in PyPi accordingly.
