I don't think "cost of an entire GPU board" and "cost of the DRAM on that board" are nearly the same thing ... ? I've used John McCallum's data in class for many years: https://aiimpacts.org/trends-in-dram-price-per-gigabyte/ |

I was interested to see the trend of the price of memory bandwidth over time, since we have the price of GFLOPS over Time. Hope it is helpful!
