Backend & Data Engineer focused on data infrastructure, distributed systems, and high-performance pipelines.

What I'm building

🛡️ Bastion — An open-source, edge-native data ingestion gateway built in Rust.

Bastion validates, transforms, and routes data before it touches your infrastructure. Think of it as an intelligent customs checkpoint for your data lake.

  • Edge-native — Single binary under 20MB, runs anywhere from cloud to Raspberry Pi
  • Native fan-out — Publish to multiple Kafka clusters, S3, and webhooks without MirrorMaker
  • Built-in validation — Schema enforcement at the point of entry, not after the fact
