I'm a self-taught coder, lifelong learner, and builder. Born in the Dominican Republic, raised in the South Bronx, and currently somewhere in New Jersey, I've always been drawn to learning new things: from cooking, and music - to electronics, gardening, and software engineering.
My coding journey started when I was 11 years old. Since then, it has led me through roles at Touro College, Borderfree, Shutterstock, and others - along with work on projects for organizations including the U.S. Department of Defense, Lucille Roberts, Beaba USA, and NJOP.
These days, I spend a lot of time building tools, libraries, and systems at Sphire - mostly in Go, with a focus on developer experience, infrastructure, automation, and practical software that solves real problems.
- Sphire/Foundry » A full-featured, Markdown-first CMS written in Go.
- Sphire/Hydra » A Go library for quickly hydrating structs with data from a database.
- Sphire/git-ark » A cross-platform CLI for backing up Git repositories across multiple Git remotes.
- Sphire/Godex » A toolkit for advanced data processing and manipulation.
- Sphire/namegen » A deterministic, profile-based name generator written in Go.
- Sphire/go-sdkgen » A Go CLI for generating TypeScript and JavaScript SDKs from Swagger/OpenAPI specs.
- Sphire/Mantis » A robust framework for building scalable and efficient applications.
- Sphire/Core » A foundational library providing essential tools and utilities for developers.
- Sphire/ServerStatusEmitter » A lightweight status emitter for server and service monitoring.
- PHPBenchTime »
- ContextDeleter Chrome Extension »
- Git Profile »
- ConsistentPHP »
- PyBenchTime »
- react-resume »
- Sphire/Codex
- Sphire/ServerStatusReporter - Recorder and Reporter eventually evolved into ServerStatusEmitter.
- Sphire/ServerStatusRecorder
- Sphire/ServerStatusCommon
Beyond code, I love tinkering with electronics, gardening, and building things just to see if I can.
