unfortunately, these download links will not work, because they are in the assets folder that doesn't provide stable links. We need to link to the images in /public if we want to download them https://docs.astro.build/en/guides/images/#src-vs-public

Thanks for the investigation @mashehu ! Do you know if a symlink would be sufficient? OR should we move/duplicate the files into /public?

symlink is fine (/public is actually already symlinked into sites/docs for example)
