Release 4.0.0 was premature, and does not work. Release 4.1.0 addresses this, and should be used immediately.

The original release 4.0.0 notes:

Updates to metadata and dependencies to support Puppet 6 / 7. Additionally, starting with release 4.0.0, we drop support for Ubuntu platforms, and will continue on only supporting CentOS/RHEL 6 and 7.
