I tested this as working on OS X High Sierra 10.13.6, with commit 419011fa148151dc772f2c8419d7c46cdd980be8 from libpd
I think it will probably break other platforms, as the libpd.jar had to change, but I do not have the time to test this elsewhere right now.
This fixes an issue I was having while trying to use
text defineobjects in my PD patch.
