I build systems at the edge of infrastructure, radio, and applied AI.
By day I run the technology ecosystem behind the Digital Media Commons at the University of Michigan - audio and video studios, fabrication and maker spaces, and advanced computing environments that include virtual and augmented reality used by thousands of students and researchers.
Outside of work I spend most of my time experimenting with:
• homelab infrastructure
• software-defined radio
• mesh networks and field communications
• local AI inference systems
• cyberdeck and embedded hardware builds
Most of the interesting work lives in private repos.
| Infrastructure | Proxmox · Docker · LXC · ZFS · VLAN networking · WireGuard · self-hosted services |
| AI | Ollama · local inference · agent workflows · automation |
| Radio / RF | SDR · LoRa · mesh networks · TAK ecosystems · field communications |
| Hardware | 3D printing · cyberdeck builds · embedded systems |
| Code | Python · TypeScript · JavaScript · Google Apps Script · AWS Lambda |
