About
The capitalist economy grows significantly through invention. Invention enables businesses and individuals to save and invest more money.
Inventions usually rely on knowledge. An invention cannot be realized until all knowledge required to create it exists. The materials needed to create computers have been on Earth for millennia. However, computers were only realized after the knowledge of their working and manufacture was created.
With the recent advances in Artificial Intelligence (particularly those in Natural Language Processing (NLP)), a computer may go through all books and articles ever written and ensure there aren't any inventions that can be created using this knowledge that are not in existence.
No man in the world in his lifetime can read and accurately integrate all books ever written. A computer, on the other hand, can do this much faster, much more accurately and with no tire.
The human race needs to create software that optimizes global invention. In this way, inventions will be realized much faster. All scientists would need to do is create knowledge and input it into the system. Invention would progress rapidly.
In future, a module may be added to the software that creates knowledge (e.g. by conducting experiments)
This software seeks to optimize invention. Its input is knowledge (books, articles, websites etc.). Its output is:
1. Descriptions of all inventions that can be created using this knowledge yet do not exist
2. The methods of manufacture of these inventions
In problem definition, the following may be done:
1. Studying the processes and guidelines followed by various inventors and finding their similarities
2. Analyzing the processes used by creators in some fields (such as the Software Engineering field) and considering the details related to computers modelling them
3. Studying principles in creativity books (e.g. Applied Creativity)
Using combination, permutation and Natural Language Processing, this software may be realized. Natural Language Processing would enable the software to:
1. Understand all knowledge fed to it
2. Create descriptions of inventions
3. Create descriptions of methods of manufacture of these inventions
- It would optimize invention.
- Scientists would just need to create knowledge. The software would automatically integrate and analyze this data for use in invention-creation.
- If the concept discovered by Jack Kibly using existing knowledge was discovered immediately all the knowledge for its creation was available, a much earlier generation would have experienced the power of computers.
-
It may greatly reduce the chances of depressions occurring in capitalist economies.
-
It has the potential to eliminate severe poverty in the world.
-
It may create more jobs.
-
It would lead to faster advances in space exploration technology.
- If a large proportion of profits (monetary) from the artificial invention software go to a small proportion of people (or just 1 individual), relative poverty would increase exponentially.
- None of its inventions should be patented . All individuals should be allowed to access and use it and its output freely.
