## Course Description
IST402 is Emerging Issues and Technologies. This section from4 to 7 on Wednesday talks about the technology used in the start up. The "Start up" culture is a world that lives by "move fast and break things". But how do you get into the start up scene? Or more importantly, what do you need to know in order to attract offers, and get your resume to stand out in a world where thousands of "IT workers" will graduate along side you.
IST 402: Emerging Issues and Technology is a course aimed to learn more about modern web technologies and to teach students how to create their own brand. This course focuses on developing skills and qualities that can benefit future careers. Students will learn how to use different social coder platforms including but not limited to Github, TravisCI, Stackblitz, CodePen, Glitch, and IFTTT. Throughout this course, students will gain hands on practice and have the opportunity to showcase their projects and ideas on social media platforms.

### What is IST 402 (Emerging Issues in Tech)
This IST 402 class is application of our knowlege on modern day technology. We are focusing on understanding of concepts that will be applied in the working world. Then we learn how these tools are used and their benefits. This class will eventually use this knowlegde to help us learn about new technology as soon as it comes out. This will be possible because this class will give us the tools to learn these new technologies for ourselves.

IST 402 Course Decription

This course prepares students to understand the difference between potential technological failures and success, fads and revolutionary technology. It also helps students to view emerging issues as an opportunity rather than a threat. Intellectual tools are provided to assist in understanding issues, assessing and forecasting technological changes for feasibility and planning in real world situations.
