On one level diffo-dev is just another open-source project, but we are also a likeminded and open community.
"We are a community that advances ethical autonomous systems by knowing: valuing, being, knowing and doing. We do this by yarning, developing and operating open source systems, and growing communities of intelligences."
There is a unpack there.
Being diffo-dev is an orientation and a shared journey of change. Journey with us.
We know by valuing, being, knowing and doing. This is deliberately recursive. Intelligent beings adapt themselves according to their values, beliefs, knowledge and actions. We seek to build systems that honour such values by honouring such values. We seek to change others by changing ourselves.
We have been influenced and are being transformed by the profound wisdom of indigenous systems thinking, particularly as lived for countless generations in Australia and beautifully expressed by Tyson Yunkaporta in many books. If we 'discover' anything we acknowledge it was already known to some. We are attempting to understand that knowledge is relational, and indeed held in relationships. To take it out of relational context is generally misuse, so we tread carefully. We do own our errors and wrong thinking, and will seek right relationship with those we affect.
We value Agile and find it compatible with our lore, in fact it illuminates some relative priorities.
Read "Sand Talk" by Tyson Yunkaporta very slowly. Yarn about what you learn at each stage. Make artefacts of your shared understanding. Use different minds to explore lore, country, relationships, memberships, time, space, correlation, scale, possibilities and potentials. Make changes to self. Seek diverse relationships, repeat.

Diffo-dev offers all material produced with MIT license where possible, or otherwises acknowledges and continues lineage of material.
We are currently incorporating as a not-for-profit association in South Australia and are working through objects, recognising council and yarning about the possibilities. More details to follow. Journey with us.
Diffo-dev is based in the Adelaide Hills on land that is Kuarna, close to land that is Peramangk.
"We acknowledge this land that we meet on today is the traditional lands for the Kaurna people and that we respect their spiritual relationship with their country. We also acknowledge the Kaurna people as the custodians of the Adelaide region and that their cultural and heritage beliefs are still as important to the living Kaurna people today. We also pay respects to the cultural authority of Aboriginal people from all areas of Australia."
