We forgot to pin ruff, which causes it to get updated in Lock file maintenance, potentially introducing reformatting needs in it. I think it's fine to require some lint-related fixes in a Update python dependencies PR where the bumped packages are easy to read, it's less good in Lock file maintenance where we have to read through the huge lock file diff to confirm which package caused a break.
