Cribbage Squares

The goal is to make rows and columns of four-card cribbage hands

1. mentally block out 16 foundations in a 4x4 grid
2. place the first card in square 6 (numbered from left to right, top to bottom)
3. subsequent cards can be placed adjacent to any existing card, top bottom left right or diagonal

• if no adjacent spot is available, you can place a card two spots away
• if no spot is available two spots away, you can place a card three spots away

4. when all 16 spots are played, play a 17th card off to the side to be the starter
5. score rows and columns according to cribbage rules; if you get at least 61 you win
