Getting Started

Prerequisites

  • Node.js 18+
  • npm or bun

Installation

# Clone the repository
git clone https://github.com/chloepilonv/moebcatalogue.git
cd moebcatalogue

# Install dependencies
npm install

# Set up environment variables
cp .env.example .env
# Edit .env with your Supabase credentials

# Start development server
npm run dev

Environment Variables

Create a .env file with:

VITE_SUPABASE_PROJECT_ID=your_project_id
VITE_SUPABASE_PUBLISHABLE_KEY=your_anon_key
VITE_SUPABASE_URL=https://your_project.supabase.co

Scripts

  • npm run dev - Start development server
  • npm run build - Build for production

About

Interactive museum catalogue builder using Gemini 2.5 Vision Detector. An admin scans an object, and the system automatically creates a card for users. Visitors can later retrieve the information by simply scanning the object while exploring the museum. Built this as a holiday gift for my father!
