ESLint v10 requires newer Node (per upstream: ^20.19.0 || ^22.13.0 || >=24), so this bump effectively raises the minimum Node version for running npm run lint/npm test. With engines.node currently set to >=12, it might be worth confirming this mismatch is intentional for contributors/CI.
