Status: Defunct — acquired by Phillips 66 in June 2023.
DCP Midstream LLC was a Denver, Colorado-based Fortune 500 midstream energy company focused on natural gas gathering and processing, NGL transportation, and NGL fractionation. In June 2023, Phillips 66 closed a $3.8 billion take-private acquisition of all publicly traded common units of DCP Midstream LP, lifting its ownership stake to 86.8%. DCP Midstream and Phillips 66 Partners were subsequently merged into Phillips 66's NGL and midstream business segment, and the standalone DCP brand was retired.
The former corporate website at dcpmidstream.com no longer resolves to an active site (TLS certificate errors as of 2026-05-23). All DCP-related communications, operations, and asset disclosures are now consolidated under Phillips 66 Midstream.
Zero public APIs. DCP Midstream never operated a public developer program, and none of the following existed at the time of acquisition or survived the merger:
- No developer portal
- No OpenAPI / AsyncAPI specifications
- No SDKs or CLI
- No webhooks
- No public status page
- No public changelog or RSS feed
- No public pricing or rate-card APIs
- No GraphQL endpoint
Phillips 66 — the absorbing parent — likewise does not run a public developer program. There is no DCP-branded API surface to profile.
Phillips 66's midstream segment now operates the assets that previously sat inside DCP Midstream and Phillips 66 Partners, including:
- More than 72,000 miles of pipeline across the U.S.
- 11 NGL fractionation plants
- ~889,000 bpd of NGL fractionation capacity
- ~4.8 Bcf/d of natural gas processing capacity
- The Sweeny Hub NGL/petrochemical complex
