Resolves #260.

The way the CITATIONS file currently is written is perhaps a bit weird, as the DOI links to a paper which has a different set of authors than what we have in our pyproject.toml. We might want to update this so that the authors are the same, and then the description of the DOI could actually just be the title of the companion article or so.

@sorlob, perhaps we briefly talk about this when we get the chance.

i would prefer that the publication of vitabel is cited (which references the repository).
@hollerm has to be mentioned as he ignited the development of this toolbox
