Security researcher and AI training specialist based in California. I benchmark local AI hardware and build cyberdecks.
By day I do AI evaluation and red-teaming work (under NDA). In my free time I build apps, dig into frequency research, and go down rabbit holes on alternative history and forgotten science. The overlap between fringe ideas and legitimate engineering is more interesting than most people realize.
Most of my current projects live at the intersection of local AI inference, single-board computers, and security tooling:
- SBC AI benchmarking - Testing what's actually possible with NPU-accelerated inference on boards like the Indiedroid Nova. Proving the Raspberry Pi 5 isn't always the best option.
- Cyberdeck builds - Portable security workstations without the soldering iron requirement.
- SDR and signals work - RF analysis, spectrum tools, and signal intelligence projects.
- Pentesting hardware - Budget-friendly setups for security research.
