2025_Daedalus

This is Team 1619's code for the 2025 game, ReefScape, in which we competed with the robot Daedalus.

Our code is written in Java, with some Python scripts to assist occasional path mirroring and to support our Simulations. Our team uses a combination of WPI Libraries, AdvantageScope, and PathPlanner for our base format.

Daedalus Robot Scoring at the Lake Superior Regional

When was this code used?

This repository contains the primary code used by our team in the Build Season during ReefScape. It was also modified throughout the Offseason and used on Daedalus at the KCMT Offseason Competition.

What was this robot like?

Daedalus was designed to be a simple robot that functioned on robust, repeatable code. It had:

  1. A swerve drivetrain
  2. An elevator
  3. An intake/outake -> also functioned as algae collect/eject
  4. A foldable, pivoting ramp
  5. A climber with a winch and a cleat
