PravunathSingh/README.md

Hey, I'm Pravunath 👋

Senior Software Engineer by day. Amateur cosmologist, traveller, and meme scholar by night.

I build scalable full-stack products for the web — React, Next.js, Node.js, a healthy dose of AWS, and lately, a lot of conversations with LLMs. I've been at it professionally for 5+ years, shipping real things that real people use.

Outside of work, I tinker. Constantly. Most of those ideas live and die in a private repo, never seeing the light of day — but hey, it's the effort that counts, right? Right??

🛠️ What I actually do

  • Architect and ship full-stack SaaS products end-to-end — from whiteboard to production
  • Wrangle infrastructure — moved entire platforms from Supabase/Fly.io to AWS and lived to tell the tale
  • Build AI-powered things — RAG pipelines, LLM integrations, vector stores, prompt engineering; making AI outputs actually useful and not just hallucination soup
  • Real-time everything — WebSockets, SocketCluster, event-driven architecture

🧰 The stack

Languages → JavaScript · TypeScript · Python · SQL
Frontend → React · Next.js · SvelteKit · React Native · Tailwind CSS
Backend → Node.js · Nest.js · Express.js
AI / LLM → OpenAI API · LangChain · RAG Pipelines · Vector Stores
Databases → PostgreSQL · MongoDB · Redis · Supabase
Cloud → AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda) · Docker · Vercel
DevOps → GitHub Actions · CI/CD · Jest · Linux

🚀 Things I've built (that actually shipped)

AI Proposal Generator — LLM-powered proposal drafting with a full RAG pipeline to keep outputs grounded in real domain content. Cut manual drafting time by ~60%. Built with Next.js, LangChain, OpenAI, and TipTap.

Notedown — A clean, keyboard-first Markdown note-taking app. Client-side, offline-first, no server needed. Sometimes the best tool is the simplest one.

...and a graveyard of side projects that had great names and even greater ambitions. We do not speak of them.

🌌 When I'm not pushing code

  • 🏔️ Out on a trail somewhere — trekking, hiking, or just finding an excuse to be in the mountains. If it's outdoors and involves some degree of "this might be a bad idea", I'm probably in
  • ✈️ Planning the next trip or recovering from the last one. Travelling is less a hobby and more a compulsion at this point
  • 🧗 Generally gravitating toward anything that qualifies as an adventure — the more off-the-beaten-path, the better
  • 📡 Down a rabbit hole about why the universe is the way it is
  • 👽 Genuinely entertaining the idea that we are not alone (fight me)
  • 🤖 Trying to understand how machines learn — slowly, humbling, ongoing
  • 💬 Happy to talk about: cosmology · travel stories · memes · anything that makes you go "wait, what?"
