Before installing, ensure your system meets the following requirements:
- Operating System: Windows 10/11, macOS Mojave or later, or a recent Linux distribution.
- Memory: Minimum 4 GB of RAM recommended.
- Storage: At least 500 MB of free space.
- Video Card: A GPU that supports OpenGL 3.3 or later is recommended for optimal performance.
tower-vib comes equipped with the following features:
- Phase-Based Subpixel Displacement: Accurately track small movements in vibration data.
- No-Ground-Truth Consistency Metrics: Evaluate the results without needing reference data.
- Robustness Benchmarks: Test how well the software performs under various conditions.
- Video Analysis Tools: Use built-in tools for visualizing and analyzing vibration data from videos.
Using tower-vib is straightforward. Follow these simple steps:
- Open tower-vib: Once installed, launch the application from your applications menu.
- Import Video File: Click on โImportโ to select the video file you want to analyze. Ensure the video contains clear vibration movements for best results.
- Set Analysis Parameters: Adjust any settings according to your analysis requirements. Default settings work well for most videos.
- Begin Analysis: Click on the โAnalyzeโ button to start processing your video.
- View Results: Once analysis is complete, review the results displayed on the screen, which may include graphs and displacement data.
