Revue 3.0 LEAF & LINCS Workshop

This repository is for Revue 3.0 Workshops related to LEAF and LINCS tools.

Preparation

• If you would like to access documents through GitHub, ensure you have a GitHub account and are signed into it before the workshop starts.

• Access the Revue3.0-LEAF/LINCS Workshop https://github.com/LEAF-VRE/revue3.0-leaf-lincs-workshop

• “Fork” the workshop training material (see this video for instructions)

• Log into LEAF-Writer Commons with your GitHub credentials.

• Make sure to accept cookies, and then click “Sign in with GitHub.” You will be asked to authorize the LINCS authentication service, “calincs”. *

• If you want to experiment with the Context Explorer, ensure you have installed the plugin on a Chromium Browser before the workshop starts.

• Access LEAF-Writer on LEAF Commons
• Access the Named Entity Reconciliation Vetting Environment (NERVE)
• Access the LEAF-VRE site with documentation for LEAF-Writer, NERVE, and other Commons tools.

LINCS (Linked Infrastructure for Networked Cultural Scholarship):

• Access the LINCS Context Explorer by installing it as a plugin in any Chromium Browser (e.g. Chrome, Edge) from the Chrome Store).

Note: the Context Explorer is also available as a library that can also be installed on a website.
