Johanna R. Thomson

Environmental scientist working at the intersection of hydrology, climate data analysis, and environmental modeling.

In my current postdoctoral research, I work on the analysis and evaluation of large-scale climate and hydrological datasets, with a focus on uncertainty assessment, reproducible scientific workflows, and terrestrial water cycle dynamics.

Current research interests include hydroclimatic change, especially evapotranspiration, dataset comparison, and environmental data infrastructure for reproducible Earth system research.

News

Find me at EGU 2026 in Vienna, Thursday, 7 May 2026. Hall A, A.37. Poster here

Open to research, scientific software, and environmental data science opportunities in Germany, particularly in hydrology, climate analytics, environmental modeling, and reproducible scientific computing.
