Releases: FlareLine/SwinApp
Prototype RC 1
Here it is! At last! SwinApp Prototype RC 1, or as it's often known; SPRC1 (pronounced Spric1).
Possibly the future of all mobile interactions at Swinburne University of Technology, SwinApp aims to please not only the student but also the mind.
Take a gander at the Android APK of the application, including functionality such as:
- Viewing a simulated dashboard with various cards
- Add reminders
- View a simulated schedule for your simulated uni life
- Read the latest BlackBoard Announcement, there's just one! For the entire university faculty!
- Gasp at our beautiful splash screen
- Explore a hand crafted list of Swinburne's finest sites and applications
- Be in the know for weather in Hawthorn
- Check the when the next train is arriving
iOS Builds were not possible due to monetary constraints involving developer licenses, we are sorry for any inconvenience.
SwinApp was developed by a rag tag team of Swinburne Students including:
- Alex Billson
- Campbell Graham
- Ethan Wright
- Kiran Bommakanti
- Josiah Dean
Pre-Release Build 3
This build includes a number of bug fixes and new features such as:
- Map Viewer for Glenferrie Campus
- Basic support for reminders (in backend)
Pre-Release Build 2
This build isn't much different from the first build but implements a few things that aim to maximise the speed of the app (these haven't been intensely tested however)
Major changes include:
- XAML Compilation for all views and components
- User data not being loaded in the constructor and instead loaded by a Task
- Various changes to unnecessary usage of heavy XAML elements
This is once again an Android only release as we have not yet compiled the application for iOS
