We have added some MARBL diagnostics, and there are now ~525 diagnostics in a single stream when running CESM with MARBL_DIAG_MODE=full (which is the default configuration of the CESM test system). There are several situations that could lead to a large increase in the number of diagnostics coming from the model, hence the decision to increase by 50% instead of trying to set a tighter bound around the new maximum number of diagnostics.

Description
We have added some MARBL diagnostics, and there are now ~525 diagnostics in a single stream when running CESM with
MARBL_DIAG_MODE=full(which is the default configuration of the CESM test system). There are several situations that could lead to a large increase in the number of diagnostics coming from the model, hence the decision to increase by 50% instead of trying to set a tighter bound around the new maximum number of diagnostics.Fixes # (issue)
How Has This Been Tested?
Without the changes in this PR, any tests using the
base_biomodule of MARBL with the latest UCI updates (NCAR/MOM6#340) would fail tests withTests pass following this change. Also,
pr_momis bfb with this change included (along with the other changes that I wanted to test in the first place).Checklist:
