Process Time Tracker Server Application - version 3.0

!! Please note that this software installer targets a fresh installed Ubuntu 22.04 system. If you have any other server running on port:80. Please stop them using the examples.
examples- 'sudo systemctl stop nginx' and, 'sudo systemctl stop mysql' and so on...
Also if any other our DigitME2 softwares are running please use the same like example way to stop them for a while and run install.sh. After this installation use 'sh ports_change.sh' to change this software server to run on port:81.
And then please start other services by using examples like, example- 'sudo systemctl restart nginx' and, 'sudo systemctl restart mysql' and so on.

**Note: To copy & Paste the following commands in the ubuntu Terminal, Please copy here and paste with your mouse right-click, or press (ctrl+shift+v) in the terminal. **

To install Process Time Tracker Software:

Firstly click on the following file ubuntu-installer.sh in Assets Section to download the file.

Go to your Downloads folder,

Then open Terminal in ubuntu

by Pressing Ctrl+Alt+T at once

And Install the timelogger with the following command (or) copy here and press (ctrl+shift+v) in the terminal to paste.

sh ubuntu-installer.sh 

Installer will get paused with text 'librdkafka installation path? [autodetect] :' Then please press enter to resume installation.

After installation a new window with Process Time Tracker software overview page will be opened. If that fails, please use the following link to open the page.

To open the software please open the following link in your firefox browser or any web browser.

If the above method did not worked for then you can click on the timelogger.tar file to get downloaded. And once its downloaded, please go to downloads folder, extract the timelogger.tar file using mouse right-click options.

Un-zip the tar file using following command.
tar -xvf timelogger.tar
and go to timelogger folder with following command,

Firstly please open this page on your mobile phone or android tablet and please follow the following steps.

Click on the ptt-v3.0.apk through your android phone or android tablet to download the file.

It will ask for download anyway or cancel the file to be downloaded. Please select download anyway.

Then it will open settings for allowing applications install from unknown sources, please select allow. then the download gets started.

There will be a popup that says the file was downloaded, and with an open button please select that open button.

It asks for Do you want to install this app. Please select INSTALL, then the app will be installed.

Now open the android app, and allow permissions asked for allowing camera usage.

Click on the settings symbol on the app, you can see that at the top-right corner of the app.

It will be asked for the password, 1234 is the app password. Enter the password and press on OK button.

The Server IP Address will be displayed on the ProcessTimeTracker web app Overview page at the following link. For software running on different ports the page link would be different for that link please refer to the Readme-for-ports-change.txt file.

Please note that the following Server IP Address is given as an example, in your app you will get another Server IP Address on your overview page. *
