The Kill Self datapack adds a simple utility command that lets players kill themselves in game
Perfect for testing maps, servers, or just a quick reset when things go wrong.
- Adds the
/trigger kill_selfcommand automatically. - Works in survival, adventure, and creative mode.
- Multiplayer friendly – each player can use it independently.
- Lightweight and vanilla-friendly: no mods required.
If you don't have a world:
- Download the release matching your version
- Open your downloads folder
- Copy/Cut the
.zipfile downloaded previously - Start your game instance
- Create a world
- Go to more then select datapacks
- Select open datapacks folder
- Paste in the
.zipfile - Close the file explorer window
- Move from 'Available' to 'Selected' then click 'Done'.
- Done! Run
/trigger kill_selfin chat to activate.
If you already have a world:
- Download the release matching your version
- Open your downloads folder
- Copy/Cut the
.zipfile downloaded previously - Open file explorer
- Navigate to your world
- Paste the mod in the datapacks folder
- If you are in your world run /reload
- Done! Run
/trigger kill_selfin chat to activate.
- Minecraft Java version 1.21.8 (mod loaders supported, other versions planned).
- Cheats enabled.
