AI4RA Technical Discussions

This repository hosts GitHub Discussions for the technical assets AI4RA manages in this organization.

Use this space for repository-specific questions, implementation discussion, documentation gaps, contribution paths, release feedback, and technical roadmapping for AI4RA-managed assets.

This is not the general community conversation space for AI4RA. Broader community discussion belongs in the AI4RA Groups.io environment.

What belongs here

Use AI4RA Discussions to:

• ask how to use a repository, tool, prompt set, skill library, dataset, or workflow
• ask where to start contributing to a repository
• propose technical improvements to documentation, structure, evaluation, or release flow
• discuss repository organization, interfaces, formats, schema choices, and integration points
• share implementation experiments, usage examples, and contributor-facing lessons learned

What does not belong here

Please use the broader AI4RA community channels, including Groups.io, for:

• general networking and introductions
• broad field conversations not tied to a specific AI4RA asset
• community announcements that are not about a repository, release, or technical workflow
• non-technical discussion better suited to the wider community of practice

Where to post

GitHub created the default discussion categories for this repository. Here is how they should be used for AI4RA's technical assets:

• Announcements: maintainer updates about repositories, releases, migrations, or contribution process changes
• General: cross-repo technical coordination and questions that do not fit a narrower category
• Q&A: how-to questions about using an asset, running a workflow, understanding repo structure, or contributing
• Ideas: proposals for technical improvements, new assets, documentation priorities, and contributor workflow changes
• Show and tell: examples, prototypes, eval outputs, prompts, implementation notes, and integration experiments
• Polls: targeted maintainer questions about technical direction or contributor priorities

A useful technical discussion usually includes

• the repository or asset involved
• the task you are trying to complete
• what you already tried
• what was unclear, missing, or broken
• environment details when relevant
• links to the relevant files, issues, pull requests, or documentation

Please remove secrets, credentials, personal data, and institution-sensitive source material before posting logs, screenshots, or examples.

• propose a documentation or developer-experience improvement in Ideas
• share an implementation example in Show and tell
• ask a cross-repo contributor question in General
