Whitespace does not render correctly in The Lounge

We need to fix the way whitespace is rendered in The Lounge so ASCII art shows up properly. Once we've got it working on Wetfish we should submit a PR upstream

have u tried replacing 2+ spaces with   or some other unicode whitespace char in whichever thelounge function outputs message text
