User comment from a thread:
I have notice when launching the game with the "Play" button it often results in either black screen or the ubisoft launcher appearing and prompting to log in and then goes to a black screen. When going into the container and installing Uplay/Ubisoft connect manually and launching the .exe game file directly, it also prompts the launcher login and then nothing happens.
However if you open task manager inside of the container and navigate to processes, you can see that the game is running in the background. (It has a * at the end, no idea what this means). Right clicking on the process and pressing either "End Process", "End Process Tree" or "Debug", it will for reason launch into the game and it works without any issues.
This has worked for Far Cry 3 and Assassin's Creed Revelations for me so far and I assume other Ubisoft games will be the same.
Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but thought this was relevant.
