Campaign marked as sent, but ~50% failed hours later

Context

I switched to Plunk (next-app) mainly for Automations, as an alternative to Resend.

Yesterday I sent my first campaign to ~250 recipients.

What happened

• Campaign initially showed "all emails sent”
• No errors at first
• After ~840 minutes (~14h), the campaign was aborted
• ~100–120 emails (~50%) show “Action failed” / mailer daemon
• This includes my own test email, so invalid addresses can be ruled out

Questions

1. Why did the campaign fail hours after being marked as sent?
2. Is there anything I might have misconfigured?
3. How should campaign success be interpreted in this case?

I should probably mention that I see them in my inbox, not in Plunk. There are around ~120 failed mails so about the half of this campaign.

Something appears to be wrong with your domain setup. Did you change anything about your DNS records after getting the domain verified in Plunk?

No.

Asking because your MAILFROM domain is showing as temporarily failed and I am also having trouble retrieving the records through dig. This is most likely the issue as to why your campaign failed. The reason that these stats do not show in Plunk was due to a bug for which I have already pushed a fix.

I'd like to resend the campaign. Perhaps you could give me a tip beforehand on how I can ensure that all emails get through (and ideally don't end up in spam)?
