When I first run the app on my physical device, I get my app not launched at all. So how can I handle this error?

Go to gradle build (project level)
and update
// From
classpath("android.arch.navigation:navigation-safe-args-gradle-plugin:1.0.0")

// To
classpath("androidx.navigation:navigation-safe-args-gradle-plugin:2.4.1")

it will resolve the issue....
