Update notification regularly if it contains a progressBar.

Point me in the right direction — how to update the contents of a notification if it contains a progressBar?

The only way I currently have come up with is pushing new notification with same ID to replace the old one.

This is suboptimal in terms of performance, also if I add actions and try to refresh the notification this way, the text is flashing (https://www.youtube.com/shorts/gFmI2J8oHV0).

Are we limited to 3 actions per notification? Or am I missing something?

Can we have a thumb to control the progressBar in a notification?
