Change System Theme requires running twice on a multi-monitor system

Running the Change System Theme script once changes the theme correctly only on the primary monitor, the secondary monitor becomes garbled. Running it once more with an interval fixes the issue. What can cause this? Windows 11 25H2, WDD 5.6.
