• Your purpose in using this API:

I am building a semantic search tool for hadiths, intended as a free community resource. The tool will allow users to search hadith literature by meaning rather than keywords, using sentence embedding models and a vector database. The goal is to make hadith discovery more accessible to Muslims, students, and researchers. The data will be used to generate embeddings stored in a vector database, and will be surfaced through a mobile app on iOS and Android.

• API rate limits:

  • Maximum requests per second: 2
  • Maximum requests per day: 500

• Is your use case better served by having an offline dump of hadith data or programmatic API access?

An offline dump would be preferred. The data will be preprocessed once to generate embeddings and loaded into a vector database, so ongoing API access is not required.

• What are the languages in which would you like hadith data?

English

• What programming language will your API client be in? JavaScript (Node.js)

Thank you brother for submitting your request. I'm just afraid your request might get stuck in the same backlog of requests that have been accumulating for years in this repository.
