Softadastra is a foundational web runtime designed to make the web work reliably under real-world conditions.

Softadastra is structured around four cooperating layers:
- Runtime : executes application logic locally
- Sync Engine : WAL, outbox, retries, conflict handling
- Network : secure peer-to-peer transport, routing, relays
- Edge : caching and store-and-forward nodes
Each layer is independently useful, replaceable, and governed by explicit contracts.
Softadastra is not:

Products may be built on Softadastra, but the foundation never depends on products.
