974px vs 1140px

can i get a little background why we have two versions?

all of sky use to be 974px wide so when the grid was first created it was this wide. Then with the redeisgns of couple years ago this was changed to 1200px (or 1140 without gutters) and the hope was everyone would 'quickly' transition across.

so for backwards capability ive kept the option to easily restrict the width... maybe we can remove it as the restriction could easily be done in their own project....

I think version 1.0.0 should have any deprecations removed.
