example config (in Readme.md) not working

It throws a missing field error, apparently the hotkey field is missing from the defined views. When i do add the hotkey fields, it doesn't throw an error anymore, but the browser hangs on loading.
The example config is OK, except for the last "%" which shouldn't be there.

Thanks for raising this! I've removed the stray % and added the hotkey to the configuration.

Is the browser still hanging for you? Could you please share your .toml file here? Also, are there any error messages in the terminal after quitting Spegel? Finally, what operating system are you using, and are you running Spegel from the main branch or installed via pip?
