Hello, I'm facing a problem to make the audio recording plugin work properly in Google Chorme. I believe the problem started in the update that changed the Chrome policy for audio manipulation, and now whenever the directive is loaded the following alert is displayed , and then, the audio is not correctly recorded:

The error happens using the audio recording plugin's demosnation, and also happens in other projects that I have that also use the same plugin. Is there any way to solve this issue? Thanks!

Hi @GianCarlosB (and others who may come across this)... Open the angular-audio-recorder.js file and search for the function:

gotStream: function (stream) {

Wrap all of the code inside that function with the following block:

html5AudioProps.audioContext.resume().then(() => {
     var audioContext = html5AudioProps.audioContext;
     .
     .
     .
})

This should fix the problem.

The issue is that when the directive gets init'ed on page load and new AudioContext() is created, the user hasn't interacted with any buttons of the directive so the AudioContext now gets put into a state of suspended. By wrapping the gotStream code in the resume(), it changes the state back to running and recording should work again.

Hello @andymerrick I tried to follow your tip and the problem of AudioContext was actually solved, however, it ended up generating another error when the recording is started...
