Is this project still active? If so, could you provide some up-to-date installation instructions? I'm a linux noob, and many of the dependencies seem to either be out of date or I couldn't find them. Plus there are other dependencies like v4l2grab and opencv not listed?

It's not really maintained and largely proved what it set out to do.

If you are interested in low latency videos streaming over Wi-Fi like on a raspberry pi, you might check out the OpenHD project.

That said if you have specific questions and let me know what distribution you're using I can try to update the docs when I have time.
