Am I right to say that since Libspotify is deprecated by Spotify, this no longer works?

It still works, you just need to google to download the libspotify as Spotify do not offer them to download any longer. But better check out this project, it works better and is newer: https://github.com/hbashton/spotify-ripper

I see. if i use the other project, do i still need libspotify? or is pyspotify the replacement?
