I notice that the docs are currently deployed to Oskar's S3 storage. I wonder if perhaps it would make sense to migrate to Read the Docs given that maintenance is becoming more of a community effort. Any thoughts @owickstrom?

That would be very good! I don't think the theme matters that much, so if RTD mandates their own theme that'd be fine. Do you have experience with RTD? I've only used Sphinx standalone.

Thanks for the response @owickstrom. Sphinx and RTD are both new to me, but I’m looking forward to learning. I will definitely investigate whether a custom theme is possible, as losing that would be a definite downside.
