Summary

A screen reader user reported in pieces-app/support#1043 that they encountered images without alt text not only in Pieces emails but also on some documentation pages. This makes content difficult or impossible to understand for nonvisual users.

• Audit documentation pages for images missing alt text
• Add meaningful alt text to informative images
• Mark purely decorative images with alt="" so screen readers skip them
• Consider adding an accessibility check to the docs CI/review process

Context

This was reported by @RareBird15, who has been providing thorough accessibility feedback across the Pieces ecosystem using NVDA on Windows. Their detailed reports are helping us improve inclusivity across the product, communications, and documentation.

Over 150 images now have alt text! + more accessibility features coming in nearing release, such as an accessibility pop-up that allows for fine-tuning the docs as needed for a range of disabilities.
