how do you get the treasure box in level 1?

i tried W E and B in level 1 and couldnt get to the box as it was blocked by rocks...

You don't have W, E, and B right away in level one. You have to go find those keys. And getting a key is not the same as getting its capital. Don't worry, you don't need to get to that box until you have all the keys you need to be able to get it.
