Hello! The dock is modified from search box. What does global launcher look like when enable search box?

Hi thank you for replying, the global launcher has no option to enable or disable the search bar, the option is hidden by the system launcher by default. I was hoping an lsposed module would let me enable it and then I can use the midock module. Although there are modded system launcher apk with search bar enabled but since miui 12.5 no system app can be replaced. I have attached the homescreen screenshot, where you see there's no search bar at bottom. If I enable midock without search bar, no dock background appears, only padding is shifted.

Try MIUIDock_v1.3.3. It will show the option.
I don't have global device, so I'm not sure it will work.

I think you've made it correctly sir, the global ROMs might not be letting the search bar appear. Someone using a CN rom might confirm this.

There is a variable in the launcher code to control whether it is the international version. I set it "TRUE" and the search bar on my desktop will disappear. Then I did some work to make it true and display the search bar at the same time. It took effect on my device.

Maybe the launcher is different between the global ROM and the CN ROM. Can you provide a launcher APK?

I got the reason why it doesn't work on your device. Your launcher is ALPHA version, and the module is not support it. There are many differences(class name and methods name...) between ALPHA and RELEASE. Install the RELEASE version of launcher and try again.

I uninstalled the Alpha and installed on Release. Now the padding has also gone missing sir.
